“Companionship, like having friends and stuff. Getting to see your same people every day.”

Do you play doubles or singles?

“I play both. Jacob Reding and Pippi Timpanaro are my partners in doubles.”

What has been your best moment on the tennis court?

“My sophomore year at Regionals with Pippi in the first round against Friendswood, because they’ve been our rivals for a super long time in tennis and we killed them; and we just had a lot of great points in there. That was a lot of fun. We were sophomores and it was our first time at Regionals.”

What has been the highlight of this season?

“The trip to Lufkin. We had the two-hour drive to Lufkin and then won in doubles against a good team.”

If you did not play tennis what other sport/activity would you play?

“Basketball.”

What is the coolest place you have ever traveled to?

“Zion National Park. I went on vacation there. There’s a lot of cool mountains and a lot of cool hiking stuff.”

Who is your biggest role model? Why?

“My biggest role model is probably Coach Kory Kasper. I’ve always looked up to him. He was the coach freshman year for basketball.”

What is your favorite go-to snack?

“The pretzels with peanut butter infused in them.”

If you could have lunch with anybody who would it be?

“I would want to have lunch with Rob Gray. He was a basketball player from U of H that caused me to grow my hair out.”
