It’s officially that time of year! What better way to get into the holly jolly spirit than listening to your favorite Christmas songs. Here is a Top 10 list of Christmas songs.

“Last Christmas” by Wham

“Last Christmas” is my No. 1 played Christmas song on Spotify. I love this song specifically because me and my mom sing it together. Our favorite line in the song is “A Face on a lover with a fire in his heart, a man undercover but you tore me apart.”

“It makes me feel like I’m in his shoes.”

Zoe Paez, 9

“All I Want For Christmas is You” by Mariah Carey

You almost can never have Christmas music without Mariah Carey. Although most of us do in fact want a lot for Christmas, this song is still a great hit.

“It’s Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas” by Michael Bublé

As soon as I see Christmas anything, I immediately think of this song. It truly gets me into the Christmas Spirit. Michael Bublé has such an incredible voice, one that was just made for Christmas music.

“Baby, It’s Cold Outside” by Esther Williams and Ricardo Montalbán

We can all agree that this winter has been a chilly one. If you’re like me and listen to Christmas music all year round, you most likely appreciate this song during the cooler times of year.

“This song makes me happy.”

Leah Molina, 9

“Run, Rudolph, Run” by Chuck Berry

Although, I’m not a huge fan of songs involving Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, this song just hits in a completely different way. Chuck Berry will always and forever hold a special place in my heart with this one.

“It reminds me of Home Alone.”

– Lilly Medina, 9

“Christmas Time Is Here” by Vince Guaraldi

This song takes me back to the day before Christmas break in elementary when we would just have a super relaxed day and watch movies while discussing what we were hoping Santa would leave under the tree that year. A Charlie Brown Christmas is such a classic.

“Wonderful Christmastime” by Paul McCartney

I don’t know what serotonin is in this song but it truly works a wonder. Especially the “ding dong, ding dong, ding.” With this absolute banger, I really do have “a wonderful Christmastime.”

“I like this song because it makes me want to decorate my Christmas tree.”

– Janessa Rodriguez

“Happy Holiday” by Andy Williams

This one is an oldie but a goody. Andy Williams never misses with any of his Christmas songs. This song never fails to put me in a holly jolly mood.

“Let It Snow, Let It Snow” by Dean Martin

It rarely ever snows is Texas, but this song always reminds me of making my Christmas list.

“Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” by Darlene Love

When I imagine this song, I think of someone singing to the whole world, telling them to go home, or at least to someone that makes them feel like home.
