The boys and girls swim team held their first home meet of the new on Oct. 2. The boys are the reigning state 5-A champions.

They had an away meet in Tomball on Oct. 3. The girls won both meets. The boys defeated North Shore at home and finished second in Tomball.

During the first meet of the year, the swimmers presented their favorite teachers with a rose.
