In the homecoming game on Sept. 19, the Bulldogs snapped their three-game losing streak with a huge victory over Galena Park, 62-36. Senior quarterback Zach Purcell led the team with 215 passing yards and 107 rushing yards. He threw for two touchdowns and ran for four.
