Technology hasn’t made this part of life better. It was much easier to get concert tickets before online sales – even if that meant waiting in a line overnight or finding an obscure location that has a Ticketmaster port (like in the Sears customer service office in the arm pit of the store).
I used to go to every concert I could, and the average price was $25 for the big name artists (Beastie Boys, Smashing Pumpkins, Lollapalooza, etc.).
