The softball team (17-6 overall, 10-2 in district) ended the regular season with an 11-1 victory over Splendora on April 17. The Panthers finished second in the district, behind Crosby (17-6, 11-1).
The Panthers are on a six-game winning streak and they will start the playoffs on Thursday night. In the Bi-District round, the Panthers will face Brenham in a best-of-three series. The games will be held at Cy Falls High School. On Thursday and Friday night, the games will start at 6:30 p.m. If a third game is necessary, it will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
