A much-anticipated snowfall arrived in Kingwood on Feb. 15 and a number of students enjoyed some time in the snow. Students had no school as temperatures dipped into the 20s. School remained out for the rest of the week as the city of Houston struggled with electrical issues and many residents were without water. While some buildings in Humble ISD had damage, the district still planned to open schools up on Feb. 22.
