[Slideshow] Dominant performance leads boys to state tournament

The boys soccer team defeated Pflugerville Hendrickson, 6-2, on April 9 to reach the state tournament. In the Region Final, the team trailed in the first half 2-1 before senior Gage Guerra scored a header right before halftime to put the Panthers up for good.
The Panthers will now play Pharr Valley View (21-1) at 7 p.m. in San Antonio. Both teams are seeking a chance to play in the state championship game on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Georgetown.
