A mini college fair was held in the commons with booths from different colleges sprawled around the room.It was held to help kids determine where they may want to go after high school.

Students looked for different factors when determining which schools to look at more seriously.

When asked what the deciding factor would be for which college she attends, sophomore Alexandra Martinez said, “Cost [is important]. Also, definitely what majors and what different resources they offer.”

The schools that attended the mini fair were mostly from state schools, like the University of Texas-Austin. Each person had their own criteria for how they were choosing.

“Basically it comes down to do I feel at home here and will I feel at home here and is it a good community to be around?” freshman Ana Snyder said.
