The most prestigious award in acting in America is the Academy Awards or known as the Oscars. The Oscars is an award ceremony in the film industry dating back to 1929. The Oscars give awards to the best actor/actress for a deserved category like best picture. The best picture is the award that goes last in the ceremony but it is the best because it decides the best movie of the year.
