Kingwood Park’s cross country team is making a name for itself and is claiming titles left and right.

On Thursday Oct. 12, the boys and girls varsity teams took the first place title at District 21-5A. This wasn’t the only victory cross country won. The JV boys took the title and the freshman boys championship, also at the District 21-5A.

The cross country ladies were also standing out as they finished ahead of second place Porter. They have ranked fifth going to the regional meet, and need to move up one space to take state.

Other teams came close to beating them, but nothing could touch the mighty panthers as they ran and won.

Continue to show your support for the boys and girls of cross country as they claim more titles and take more wins. Their next meet is Region III-5A at Huntsville on October 23.
