[Slideshow] Boys soccer dominates Weiss in Round 3

The Kingwood Park boys soccer team defeated Pflugerville Weiss, 6-0, and advanced to the regional semifinals on Friday night. Senior Gage Guerra scored a goal, a penalty kick and added two assists. Senior Jesus Cervantes scored on two penalty kicks and senior Nathan Jimerson added a goal as well.
The boys will take on Foster on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. The game will be played on Freedom Field in Alvin.

Referees should be looked at.. what a coincidence that red cards given along with penalties. It is disappointed to see how a Ref can ruin the fun of the sport, especially at a High School level!!

I am all about good soccer games, but sadly we encounter really poorly trained referees. So sad to see how those “poorly trained referees” can ruin a good game anticipated in the very first 5 minutes of what could have be an amazing game.
