Senior Joshua Bartley transferred to Kingwood Park after first attending Atascocita High School. He played on JV last year before becoming the starting point guard this year.

Q: What else are you involved in besides basketball?

A: “Outside of school. I’m a church intern.”

Q: What is one of your greatest strengths you bring to the team?

A: “My ability to get my teammates involved.”

Q: How old were you when you started playing?

A: “I was about 4 years old.”

Q: What superstitions do you do before you play?

A: “I always use the restroom at halftime, before I play.”

Q: What music do you listen to before you play?

A: “Usually R&B like Giveon.”

Q: Who or what is your biggest motivation?

A: “My father.”

Q: What are your personal goals for the season?

A: “I want us to win the district title.”

Q: What’s a time you wanted to quit, but kept playing?

A: “The year before I transferred to Kingwood Park. I didn’t like it at Atascocita High School.”
