In a hard-fought match against Montgomery on Friday, the girls soccer team took an early 1-0 lead when sophomore Brynn Baldon headed in a corner kick by senior Kathleen Ortiz. Montgomery tied the game in the first half. Both teams held the opponent scoreless in the second half to finish in a tie. Montgomery remains in third place in the district and Kingwood Park remains in first with two regular-season games still to go.
