Football wraps up regular season, prepares for playoffs

With its first district title within reach, the Panthers fell to Port Arthur Memorial, 34-22, in its final regular-season game on Nov. 3. The Panthers ended up finishing third in the district, behind Port Arthur Memorial and Barbers Hill. They finished the regular season 7-3 and 6-2 in district play.

During the final game, seniors on Silver Stars and in the band were recognized with their parents.

The Panthers take on fourth-ranked Lancaster on Friday night at Beverly D. Humphrey Tiger Stadium in Lancaster. Check out images from Kingwood Park’s last game.
