Derriq Young is a senior with a love of sports and broadcasting. She’s the youngest of two older brothers who introduced her to the sports she grew to enjoy which helped her create her love for sports journalism. She’s extremely passionate about her future career as a sports broadcaster and continues to work hard in class to get closer to her dreams. Because it’s her last year on the staff she’s making it her goal to try new things, think outside the box and thrive to be the best Derriq she can be!Â
