“I feel like I’m a New Yorker trapped in a Texan’s body,” – Chris Luck, senior.
Chris Luck dreams of living in a city he’s never seen. Luck, who was born in Buffalo, New York and moved to Kingwood when he was one, feels he was never meant to live in the south. His goal in life is to live in New York, working as a college football coach. If he doesn’t land a college coaching position, he won’t take a coaching job anywhere else. He wants to help people out in what he views as the most critical part of their education, and lead them to figure out what they want from life. The bright-lights romanticism he’s seen in movies and the eclectic coexistence of the city is what draws Luck to New York, specifically – for him, it’s The Big Apple or bust.
