“I’m very, very open and caring. That’s me,” - Elyssa Roman, junior.

Elyssa Roman is the girl who tried everything. From tennis to theatre to choir to colorguard, until she found what meant most to her - journalism. Roman has a special quality that makes her a perfect fit for the job. People open up to her. She can be standing aimlessly in the hall, practicing her routine for color guard, or scrambling on the sidelines of football field trying to capture the game when someone wanders up to ask questions or tell stories without even knowing the simplest thing about her. Her response? “Talk it out.”
