The girls soccer team defeated College Station on penalty kicks in the bi-district championship on March 24. The first-round playoff game was tied at 1 after 100 minutes of play. Junior Emma Yeager scored the team’s only goal in the 71st minute. Freshman Courtney Daniel was in goal as the Panthers sank three penalty kicks and College Station finished with only two. Yeager hit the first penalty kick for Kingwood Park and juniors Nadia Lawrence and Bailey Ricker added the other two.
