Junior Jackson Woods tees off on the ninth hole at Kingwood Country Club.

The boys golf team competed in the District Championship on March 26 and 27. The team defended their title of district champions with a 44 stroke lead over Lufkin. 

The team consisted of junior Cole Mayon (2nd), sophomore Cory Case (3rd), junior Wyatt Rodriguez (4th), sophomore Seth Ferguson (8th), and senior Kasen Ferguson (9th). 

They will be competing at Rockwall Country Club on April 15 and 16 for the regional tournament. Senior JD McComb will be joining the team in Rockwall as an alternate.
